- Product introduction
1. Name
Chinese name: polyene phosphatidylcholine English Name:Polyene Phosphatidylcholine
2. Structural Formula
Molecular formula:C44H82O9PN molecular weight:800(Average molecular weight) CASNumber:8002-43-5
3. Function and Use
Polyene phosphatidylcholine is refined from phospholipids extracted from plants. Its main active ingredient is 1,2-dilinoleoyl phosphatidylcholine. Polyene phosphatidylcholine has the same chemical structure as important endogenous phospholipids and is superior to the latter in function. The endogenous phospholipids of human body can be replaced, combined and entered into the membrane components. The significance of this substitution is to increase membrane fluidity, while maintaining or promoting many membrane functions of different organs and tissues. These include: regulating the activity of membrane binding enzyme system; inhibiting the content and activity of cytochrome P4502E1 (CYP2E1); enhancing catalase activity, superoxide dismutase (SOD) activity and glutathione reductase activity.
Leich et al. studied the effects of dilinoleyl phosphatidylcholine, interferon and placebo on hepatitis B and C, and concluded that dilinoleyl phosphatidylcholine can reduce the level of alanine aminotransferase (ALT) in blood. The combination of dilinoleyl phosphatidylcholine and interferon has a good effect in the treatment of hepatitis C without side effects.
